Our care team staff directly employed by us are registered with Social Care Wales and go through a thorough induction training process, incorporating shadowing an experienced member of staff, classroom-based training, online training and follow the All-Wales Induction Framework, conducted and assessed by an experienced member of staff and an outside training provider
Supporting Positive Behaviour
At Resolution Care Services, we train all our staff in Positive Behavioural Support techniques and have extensive experience in helping people find new ways of dealing with challenging behaviour in a holistic and positive way.
Adults may display behaviours which may put themselves or others at risk, may prevent the use of ordinary community facilities or impact a normal home life. This behaviour may be in the form of aggression, self-injury, stereotyped behaviour or disruptive and destructive behaviours, such as hitting, kicking, spitting, shouting and breaking objects.
We believe that challenging behaviour should not be a barrier to experiencing a full and happy life. We work in partnership with you to develop a behaviour support plan, to ensure the person’s communication needs are met.
Aiming to reduce repeated incidents of challenging behaviours and ensure the wellbeing and safety of all concerned, our specialist and trained care teams will also provide support in the following areas,

Training
We invest in training, supervision and educational opportunities, to ensure our staff receive continued professional development, feel valued and fully equipped for fulfil their job role.
